Suburban Sex was born at a pool party while dancing to 2000's hip hop. Because we think we're cool. Each week you'll find us sipping some vino as we get real about what gets us turned on, we celebrate our sexy moments and laugh together when things don't go quite as we planned.
We speak to both the husband and wife mindset - looping in many of our married friends along the way to help add more perspectives.
Sex is fun (if you're doing it right) - let's talk about it! We can't promise your wife will have more sex just by listening to the podcast, but she'll certainly be thinking about it more!
Who we are…
This is a tasty ... ok, tasteful sex talk for married couples. We're Remy (devoted husband) and Addy (typical tired mom) - married for 10+ years - but not to each other. We've all been friends for years. We each are SO suburban - we work full time jobs, have multiple kids at home and bonded by over-sharing our separate sex lives during many-a-suburban gathering ... as one does. We're pretty vanilla overall but realize how important it is to keep our marital "flame" alive. We figured, being in our 40's, we might as well share what's working and what isn't.
Addy gives the typical married wife perspective. Granted, not every wife starts a sex podcast - but she's on the same journey most of us are on - we're not always in the mood, not always mentally able to switch to sex-bot-mode after kids have screamed in her face all afternoon. But, her and her husband Brad keep it spicy. They work together to stay intimate, try new things and make the most of however-many decades of sex they have ahead. Their marriage is their priority. And they're still hot for each other.
Remy is your typical husband - wants sex as often as possible from his hot wife, Reagan. But like many of us - can't always get her on the same page. He started a sex podcast because (A) it's fun as hell and (B) he wanted to get close to the female mindset around sex. What gets your wife in the mood more often? Remy's our Researcher - always finding the latest and greatest that could help all of our sex lives get more exciting.
